About Divyansh Kesarwani

Divyansh Kesarwani is a student of economics and political science at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi, whose approach to leadership was shaped long before he set foot on campus.

At Delhi Public School, Kanpur, Divyansh served as House Captain of the Junior Students' Council and ranked 9th in Kanpur in the CBSE Class 12 board examinations. A competitive golfer in his school years, he won 1st place at the Kanpur Inter-School Junior Open Golf Putting Championship, an early lesson in precision, patience, and playing the long game.

At Khalsa, that discipline has translated into real, visible growth. He served as sports president of the Delhi University Students' Union, representing student interests at a university-wide level. At Enactus Khalsa, his trajectory tells its own story: as a research and development executive, he helped organise Vichar 6.0, the society's annual fest, alongside fellow executives and postholders, and a year later, as general secretary, he led the planning and execution of Vichar 7.0, taking on full ownership of the event he once helped build. Alongside this, he has driven social impact initiatives including Project Hifazat, a composting and plantation drive for local schools. He is also a member of MANVIKI, Khalsa's Humanities and Social Sciences Society.

Divyansh's year with Enactus Khalsa was built on showing up everywhere the work needed him. He helped take Project Hifazat's business plan to the top 8 at SRCC and represented it at IIT Roorkee and Sri Venkateshwara College, while also leading the research and pitch for the project's second vertical, self-defence training for amputees, and helping finalise partnerships with two specialised NGOs, one Paralympic-focused in Noida and one in New Delhi, along with Tackle Fight Club as the training partner. On the R&D pipeline project, he helped shape the plan of action, sourced over 500 plastic bottles as raw material, and researched the communities the project could serve. In the field, he served as the point of contact for a collaboration with Namami Gange, Ministry of Jal Shakti, and led outreach that brought in a school visit and a 250-seedball plantation drive with Hara Jeevan NGO, with fieldwork spanning Malkaganj, Civil Lines, GGSS School Pitampura, and Samaypur Badli, among others. For Vichar 6.0, he led a campus-wide promotional push across North Campus colleges, arranged three sponsorship lists, secured five stalls, and reached out to over 250 potential speakers, successfully bringing in IFS Deepak Vohra and Nexus Band, while also leading and starring in Hifazat's "Exploring Campus" reel for World Asthma Day and arranging the event's photography partnerships.

Divyansh's grounding in public policy runs deep. As Chief Communications Officer at Politics Personal, he shapes political discourse for a youth audience, building on his earlier role as a policy analysis intern there. He has also served as an economic policy and legislative research intern in the office of a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Naresh Chandra Uttam Patel from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, gaining direct, first-hand exposure to how legislation is researched, debated, and shaped.

As Under Director General for AIPPM at Confero MUN 2025, he holds certifications in Instagram Marketing and The Mathematics of Democracy, Politics and Manipulation, reflecting a dual interest in the communication and the theory behind political engagement. He was also placed among the top 8 at the C2P B-Plan Competition, SRCC, and received the Sankirtan Award at the ISKCON Book Marathon 2024.

Fluent in English and Hindi, with working knowledge of Sanskrit, Divyansh combines grassroots student advocacy with policy research and communications strategy, built on a simple belief: leadership should be earned by moving up through the ranks, not around them.
